Argos is providing the foundation materials for a major infrastructure project in Summerville, South Carolina, that includes a new 3.9-mile and a four-lane roadway with seven bridges. One of the most important aspects of a project of this scale is ensuring the stability of these structures.
Our partner, Lee and Sims Drilling, is drilling 60-foot shafts and filling them with our high-strength concrete to serve as crucial anchors and supports for the bridge deck and flat surface slabs that will make up the roadway.
Our goal is to have a positive impact on the Summerville community, improving commutes, reducing congestion, and enhancing safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
